How to remove candle wax from glass candle holders: An effortless oven trick to make your candle holders sparkle
Using an oven is an easy way to clean multiple glass candle holders at once. Gentle heat won't harm their surface.
How do you remove wax stains from a candle holder? For glass candle holders, the oven is an excellent solution. Low temperature won't harm them. All you need is baking paper to protect the baking sheet and paper towels to wipe away the melted wax.
Here's how to remove candle wax from glass candle holders:
- Scrape off most of the leftover wax, and preheat the oven to 75 °C (167°).
- Place the candle holders on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, then slide it into the oven. The rest of the wax will melt onto the baking paper.
- Remove the tray from the oven, and wipe the candle holders clean and sparkling with paper towels.
