Make an easy willow wreath from flexible branches—shape the perfect round base in a washing bowl!
A willow wreath looks beautiful on its own, but you can also decorate it with any spring accents. A washing bowl is a handy helper when forming the round wreath base. You can try the same technique with twigs and other flexible branches as well.

Willow wreath: instructions

1. Cut and gather straight willow branches. Layer the branches at the bottom of the washing bowl in small, overlapping bundles so that they form a round wreath. This is where an extra pair of hands might come in handy.

2. Cut pieces out of the binding wire and secure the willow wreath in several spots by wrapping tightly. Lift the wreath out of the bowl and tie it in more places if needed. Finally, trim the wires and tuck the ends between the willow branches.

3. Decorate your wreath with hare’s-tail grass or other flowers, then attach a ribbon to hang the wreath.
