- 20 drops of essential oil (e.g., 8 drops rosemary and 12 drops orange)
- Mixing bowl and spoon
- A shaker (e.g., a cheese or herb shaker) that holds about 3 dl
- Paper, printer (or pen), scissors, and paper glue for making the label

All you need to make vacuuming powder is baking soda and essential oil.
Vacuuming powder—instructions:
- Mix all ingredients well in a bowl and pour into the shaker. Make a label by printing or writing by hand, and glue it onto the side of the shaker.
- Sprinkle the powder on carpets and upholstered furniture, let it sit for 10–30 minutes, then vacuum it up. If odors persist, brush the powder into the carpet or textile and let it work overnight before vacuuming.
Tip!
You can also use the vacuuming powder to freshen shoes: sprinkle some inside, leave it overnight, then vacuum.
