Here’s how to crochet the bag with Solomon’s knots

Ch 43 for the foundation chain. Make a seamless bottom by crocheting Solomon’s knots (SK) on both sides of the foundation chain according to the chart.

Solomon’s knot crochet (images 1–4): *stretch the loop on the hook to about 2 cm (0.8″), yarn over and pull it through the extended loop, then insert the hook between the extended loop and the strand of yarn behind it, yarn over and crochet 1 sc*, repeat from * to *.

Round 1: Crochet 1 sc in the 3rd ch from the hook. Then crochet 1 Solomon’s knot as follows: **stretch the loop on the hook to about 2 cm (0.8″), yarn over and pull through the extended loop, then insert the hook under the back strand of the extended loop, yarn over and crochet 1 sc*, repeat from ** to * once again, skip 4 ch and crochet 1 sc**, repeat from ** to ** another 7 times, then crochet 2 SK into the last stitch of the row. Continue by crocheting 8 SK along the other side of the foundation chain, into the opposite sides of the previous stitches, and finally crochet 2 SK at the other end as follows: 1 SK into the 2nd ch and 1 SK into the 1st ch = 20 SK.

Rounds 2–13: Continue without joining the rounds and crochet 1 SK in each space between the SKs of the previous round.

Round 14: Ch 3 in each space between the SKs and 1 sc in each sc from the previous round (the knot).

Round 15: 1 sl st in each stitch.

Finishing: Weave in the ends. Attach the handles with the snaps, one on either side of the top edge of the bag.

This generously sized bag can hold your towels and your yoga mat.
