Lavender sachets freshen your home without chemicals—place one in the wardrobe or under your pillow!
Scented sachets will add a delightful scent to your linens, wardrobe, bathroom, or sauna. Creating your own is easy with store-bought cotton pouches.
Scented sachets (about 100 ml)—supplies:
- A handful of smoking chips and/or other clean wood shavings
- A handful of dried flowers, dried seed pods, and small twigs
- A handful of dried lavender flowers
- 5 drops of lavender essential oil
- A bowl for mixing
- A small cotton pouch
- Fabric paint and a stamp or a fabric marker
- String
Here’s how to make lavender sachets
- Mix the dry ingredients and essential oil with clean hands in a bowl. Pour the mixture into a plastic bag, seal tightly, and let the fragrance absorb into the dry ingredients at room temperature for one month.
- Decorate the cotton pouch or pouches with fabric paint and a stamp or a fabric marker.
- Open the plastic bag and fill the cotton pouch or pouches with the mixture. Close the pouches with string, ribbon, or cord.
