Craft a rowan berry wreath that bursts with fall color
It’s easy to craft a bright wreath for your door with rowan berries and ornamental tree branches. Bunches of berries gathered in advance stay plump if stored in a damp spot.
Rowan berry wreath: materials
- rowan berries
- branches from ornamental trees or shrubs
- florist’s wire
- flexible wire
- scissors and/or pruners
Rowan berry wreath: instructions
- Take branches from ornamental trees or shrubs and shape them into a circular wreath base, securing them with flexible wire. Gather the fullest leaves together in one spot.
- Leave a wire loop for hanging between the leaves.
- Attach rowan berry clusters around the wreath with florist’s wire. The wreath pictured uses ornamental apple tree branches.
