Pompom Easter eggs—what you’ll need:
Wool-blend yarn in various colors
Scissors
Pompom maker (65 mm)

Pompom Easter eggs—instructions:

1. Open the arms on one side of the pompom maker, keeping both the arms of that side together.
2. Wrap yarn around the arms for a total of 80 times. Cut the yarn.

3. Take another color and wrap it 40 times over the first layer. Cut the yarn.
4. Change color again and wrap 80 times. Cut the yarn.
5. For the final color, wrap 30 times. Close the maker, cut the yarn, and do the same on the other side.

6. Once both sides are done, cut the pompom open through the center.

7. Tie the pompom together in the center with a few tight knots. You can use a strand of yarn or thin ribbon. If you tie the ends together, you’ll have a beautiful loop to hang the egg.
8. Trim your pompom into an egg shape. It’s best to trim little by little from all sides to get an even result. Be careful not to cut the hanging loop.

9. Use tweezers or a darning needle to position the stripes. Finally, spray the yarn with fragrance-free hair spray.
