Paper doily star: instructions:

1. Fold each paper doily in half.

2. Unfold. Turn the doily so the fold is vertical in front of you.

3. Fold the top and bottom edges toward the center so they overlap.

4. Fold it in half again.
5. Fold the remaining doilies the same way.

6. Glue the sides of each paper doily together one by one, then let them dry.

7. Glue the paper doilies on top of one another. Apply glue to the bottom edge and from the center to the decorative edge. Avoid the open parts along the edge so the doilies don’t stick together. Press the next doily on top.

8. Open the star into a circle and glue the ends together. You can glue the hanging cord between the ends or tie it through the openings in the decorative edge.
