Matchbox mini house instructions
1. Using the template, cut foldable house roofs out of paper or cardstock. The template is drawn for a matchbox whose largest side measures 53 × 35 mm (2.09″ × 1.38″). Cut slightly inside the drawn lines, or the roofs will end up too large. Fold along the lines using a ruler.
2. It’s easiest to decorate the roofs while the paper is still flat. Cut patterned pieces from newspaper or other paper—for example for the gable or the roof slopes, and glue them in place. Use a marker to draw decorations and other details on the house.
3. Fold and glue the roofs into shape. Finally, glue them onto the matchboxes.
