Instantly elevate your table with easy knot-free napkin bows
These eye-catching napkin bows instantly elevate your festive table! You can make them by folding and threading them through a ring.
Materials for the napkin bow:
Approximately 50 cm × 50 cm of patterned cotton fabric
Napkin ring
Basic sewing supplies and a sewing machine
Ironing supplies
How to make the napkin bow
1. Start by sewing a napkin from the fabric. Iron the fabric, fold a narrow hem on each edge, and stitch it with a sewing machine.
2. Fold the napkin into a triangle with the wrong sides facing.
3. Then fold the opposite corner over, slightly past the halfway point.
4. Roll the napkin into a tube, starting from the long side.
5. Fold the ends of the napkin inward so they lie on either side of the center, slightly overlapping.
6. Carefully fold the napkin lengthwise to slide the napkin ring over the tube and place the ring in the middle.
7. Gently fan out the bow to widen it and arrange the ends neatly.
8. Make as many napkins as you need using the same technique. The fabric amount listed is for one sample napkin, so adjust the quantity as needed. You can also modify the napkin’s size to suit your preference.
Tip!
If you need many napkins, consider using different fabrics with similar colors or patterns. This keeps the theme cohesive while adding fun variety to your table setting.
