From Star Wars to export spearhead: the radical forms of jewelry artist and sculptor Björn Weckström

We met jewelry artist and sculptor Björn Weckström in his studio-home on the Espoo seafront. Bathed in light, the house is filled with his startling bronze and glass pieces and the jewelry that radically transformed jewelry design. Surrounded by them, he fondly recalls how his father forced him to attend goldsmith school instead of the Academy of Fine Arts.
