Seed stitch scarf: pattern
Cast on 60 stitches using a double strand of yarn (one strand each of Mohair Classic and Angora Gold). Work seed stitch in double height flat. The gauge in the sample scarf is 12 stitches and 16 rows.
- Row 1: *K1, P1*; repeat *–* to the end of the row.
- Row 2: Slip 1 stitch knitwise (with yarn in back), gently tightening the yarn to prevent the edge stitch from becoming loose. *P1, K1*; repeat from *–* to end of row.
- Row 3: Slip 1 stitch knitwise, *K1, P1*; repeat *–* to end.
- Row 4: Slip 1 stitch purlwise (with yarn in front), *K1, P1*; repeat *–* to end.
- Row 5: Slip 1 stitch purlwise, *P1, K1*; repeat *–* to end.
Repeat rows 2–5 until the scarf measures about 195 cm. Then bind off the stitches and weave in the yarn ends.
