Drink holder for the sauna—instructions:

1. Cut the glued board into the parts needed for the shelf: one 38 × 14 cm shelf piece, two 13 × 20 cm bracket pieces, and one 12 × 2 cm support rail.

2. Outline the desired shape freehand on one bracket piece with a pencil. Use a jigsaw to cut along the line. You can trace the finished piece to mark the shape on the second bracket.

3. Mark the hole positions for the drink holder. Measure 12 cm from the end of the shelf piece to find the hole center, and 7 cm from the side. Use a hole saw bit to drill the holes.

4. Smooth the cut edges of the bracket pieces, shelf piece, and support rail with sandpaper. You can also round off any corners to make them softer.

5. Nail the shelf piece to the brackets. You can use a nail gun or a hammer for the attachment. Next, place the support rail and secure it with nails.

6. Finish the drink holder with a wood treatment that matches your sauna’s color scheme and can withstand changing temperatures.

7. Once the shelf is dry, attach it to the wall using small furniture brackets and screws.
