Decorated matchbox supplies
- matchboxes or boxes of firelighters
- patterned papers
- white craft glue
- a small jar and a splash of water
- a brush for applying the glue
- glitter glue
- stickers

Decorated matchbox how-to:
1. Cut a piece of patterned paper to the size of your matchbox or box of firelighters. Leave the striking strip uncovered.
2. Thin white craft glue with water at about a 1:1 ratio. Brush the glue mixture onto the back of the patterned paper. Glue the paper to the matchbox.
3. Let the box dry. Then add a thin line of glitter glue along the paper’s edge next to the striking strip to decorate and reinforce the edge.
4. Add a sticker to the top of the box on the match-head end to indicate which way it should be opened.
