Turn cupcake liners into charming Christmas balls with just a few supplies
Would you believe these Christmas tree ornaments are made from ordinary cupcake liners? Glue the paper liners together in a stack, then fan them open into a ball. Besides the liners and glue, you’ll only need some string. Hang them on the Christmas tree or string them together into a long garland.
Cupcake liner ball supplies:
- 15–20 cupcake liners
- hot glue
- scissors
- string

Tip!
When crafting cupcake liner balls, use hot glue. Regular glue tends to ooze and stick the layers together, making it hard to fan the ball open neatly.

How to make cupcake liner balls:

1. Fold a cupcake liner in half.

2. Open it back up. Apply glue from the crease up to the top edge. Press together.
3. Fold and glue the remaining liners the same way.

4. Add glue to the top and bottom edges of the cupcake liner.

5. Glue the halved cupcake liners on top of each other, one at a time.

6. Glue the hanging string into the fold.

7. Fan the ball open into a circle and glue the ends together.
