Christmas paper flower from double-sided paper—supplies:
- wrapping paper
- an A4 sheet of paper
- glue
- scissors
- pencil
- string for hanging
Christmas paper flower—how-to:

1.Cut six A4-size pieces of wrapping paper. In these photos, we used double-sided wrapping paper with a red backside. You can also use regular wrapping paper printed on one side or solid-color paper.

2. Place the paper on the table, pattern side down. Fold the sides toward the center so the edges overlap slightly. Glue the edges together so the paper forms a tube. Don’t glue the folded edges down to the back—only to each other.

3. Next, fold the long paper piece in half and run a line of glue down the middle. Press the halves together.

4. Fold the remaining five pieces of wrapping paper the same way.

5. Use a pencil to draw a gently descending, wavy shape on the paper. The steeper the curve, the smaller the flower’s center will be.

6. Cut out the shape.
7. Glue the cut pieces to each other. Apply glue down the middle and along the bottom edge in the shape of an upside-down T. Press the pieces together.

8.Stretch the pieces into a circle to form the flower and glue the ends together.
9. Punch a hole near the edge of the flower and hang the decoration. You can also attach the flower to a wall with double-sided tape.

9. Make flowers in different sizes. A5 sheets, for example, make charming small blossoms. For a smaller flower, you’ll only need 4–5 sheets.
