Old handkerchiefs or other small cloths
Bias tape
Sewing supplies
Scissors
Ironing supplies
Bunting from old small napkins—instructions:

1. Fold the handkerchiefs in half corner to corner, and cut them in two.
2. Cut an appropriate length of bias tape. Make sure there's enough left over at both ends for tying.

3. Open the bias tape and pin the handkerchiefs with right sides facing each other.

4. Sew the pennants to the bias tape.
5. Fold the bias tape, you can use an iron to help with the crease.
6. Sew the bias tape as close to the edge as possible.
7. Finish and trim any extra threads. Iron the finished bunting if needed.

You can also make the pennants from other materials like small crocheted doilies.
