DIY birds from toilet paper rolls—instructions:

One end of the toilet paper roll has been trimmed into a curved shape.

1. Cut one opening of the roll into a curved shape. Use the trimmed piece to cut out a beak shape.

One end of the toilet paper roll is trimmed into a curved shape, and a beak-shaped piece is glued in the center.

2. Place the bird’s beak in the center of the curved opening and glue along its edge. Hot glue will hold it well, but a strong glue stick works too.

3. Fold the opposite opening (the bird’s tail) into a triangle-like shape and glue it in place.

4. Color the bird with your favorite shades. Paint the beak. For the eye, draw a white circle and then add a smaller black circle inside.

5. Place the bird on a branch or in a display. If you want to hang it, attach a string to its back with a dab of glue.

Tip!

You can make one bird from each roll. The brighter the colors, the more exotic the bird!
