Knits from the sea! Discover the timeless patterns in the Archipelago Knitting magazine
Inspired by the rugged beauty of Finland’s coastline, the Archipelago Knitting magazine features 20 stunning knitting patterns. After selling out during pre-orders, the magazine is now available as a digital download.
Archipelago Knitting brings classic and timeless knitwear designs together in one beautiful volume! This gorgeous 124-page craft magazine showcases skillfully designed patterns inspired by the unique conditions of the Finnish archipelago—the roaring sea, rocky coastlines, and the archipelago's distinctive flora.
The designs in Archipelago Knitting are created by both Finnish and international knitwear designers. Anna Johanna, Anna Tanskanen, Jenny Williams, Jona Bednjanec, Ulrika Krantz, Sara R., Emma Suominen, Hannemari Lehtonen, Heli Hottinen-Puukko, Janita Koskinen, Anna-Karoliina Tetri, Veera Jussila and Meg Gadsbey each bring their own interpretation of Finnish archipelago nature to the garment silhouettes, colourwork motifs, and textured stitch patterns.

The difficulty level of the patterns ranges from easy to advanced. The collection includes beautiful textured knits and colourwork designs: sweaters, a cardigan, a vest, two pairs of socks, hats, and shawls. The collection includes wearable designs for everyone, with most of the knits being unisex.
The yarns used include Novita, Tukuwool, Säie Wool, Isager Yarn, Cardiff, Sandnes Garn, Filcolana, and Drops. Yarns were selected for their good availability and versatility.
We hope you’ll find plenty to knit and enjoy!
