“Six-seven” is a global meme that has become especially popular among schoolchildren and teenagers. Dictionary.com even selected 67 as the 2025 Word of the Year.

67 mittens—materials:
- ready-made mittens with a solid-colored stockinette back
 - wool yarn (e.g. Novita Hygge Chunky, 100% wool, 100 g = 140 m (459’), shade 380)
 - a blunt-tipped darning needle

How to do duplicate stitching

67 mittens—instructions:
- Use the chart below, or sketch the numbers to your preferred size on graph paper, with one square representing one stitch. In the sample mittens and chart, each number is 15 rows high and 9 stitches wide.
 - Choose a yarn for the duplicate stitching that matches or is slightly thicker than your mitten yarn, so it covers the background color well. Marking the placement of the numbers on your mittens with stitch markers can help with alignment.
 - Follow the chart and duplicate-stitch the numbers onto your mittens, working either from the bottom up or top down, one row at a time.
 - Finally, weave in the ends on the inside.

Tips!
- Embroider the numbers in a few sections, as working with a very long strand of yarn is more difficult.
 - In the mittens shown, the duplicate stitching was done on chunky ready-made mittens. You can also knit a solid-colored pair.
