DIY shoe rack in the staircase — When stepping inside this wooden house, you’re greeted by stairs. The fun, space-saving shoe rack was crafted from pieces of laminated wood.

Retro cabinet customized for shoe storage — A retro cabinet can be a perfect addition to the entryway, as in this home renovated from a former post office. The shelves of the cabinet were covered with shelf paper, and holes were made in the back for ventilation.

Shoe rack made from pieces of cardboard tube — A sturdy cardboard tube was turned into a spacious shoe rack by sawing the tube into pieces. The pieces can be connected with clips, for instance. The lightweight rack is easy to move, and you can arrange it into any shape you like!

Shoe shelf made from old floorboards — In this home built into a century-old cow house, the family of five has ample storage space for all of their shoes. They repurposed old floorboards as a sturdy shoe shelf. The tallest compartment at the bottom is dedicated to tall boots. You could implement the same idea with new boards leftover from a renovation.

Shoe shelf made from half a pallet — This entryway of a family home is decorated with flea market finds and recycled items. The children got their own shoe shelf, made from a pallet that was sawn in half and painted white.

Shoes in an old staircase — In the entryway of this atmospheric old house, the steep staircase seems as if it was made for shoes!

Shoe racks made from old wooden boxes — These patinated wooden boxes mounted on the wall became an excellent shoe rack. You can stack slippers and sneakers to fill the boxes, and there’s room on top for a cute arrangement.
